Super Foods
Today's post is all about super foods that sustain you. Fillers seem to be a waste of time and money and with the ever rising cost of groceries I am looking for foods that will sustain my family. For some reason I was choosing to feed myself poorly and my children the healthier option. I ate cookies and chugged coffee in the am while my children were given the better option. Wondering to myself why I needed a nap or had no stamina. Before the new school year started I made a promise to myself to stop relying on caffeine to get me through. Now that the time has come I wanted to share a list of foods to use in lunches or snacks.

Currently, my children love pureed raspberries frozen with yogurt. I put them in individual cups and freeze and serve them "ice cream" as a treat. Alternating between popsicle molds or little cups. Once I master the homemade granola {I swear there must be a secret out there nobody is telling me} then we will puree our fruit and make parfaits with yogurt. Sounds good to me!
I know your cells {in your body} will love you for this.

Great post. We have cut a lot of those foods out of our diet as well. I loved the other day hubby said. I don't think I put weight on as quickly because we cut so much out of our diet now.
As for granola I have a couple really good recipes.
This is one of my favorites
